Budget breakdown - what did you actually spend?

Would love to hear what people actually spent on their NC500 trip. Accommodation, fuel, food - give me the real numbers!

In the van: about 350 pounds on fuel (diesel prices up here are brutal), 200 on campsites (mixed with some wild camping), and maybe 150 on eating out over 7 days. So roughly 700 quid plus the van hire.

B&Bs and hotels route: we spent about 1800 for two people over 6 nights. That included some nice dinners out. The Kylesku Hotel was a splurge but worth every penny.

Wild camping and cooking on a stove, I did the whole thing for under 250 quid. Fuel was the main expense. But I'm used to roughing it!
